Gareth Pugh is one of those you love or you hate, it is one of those artists who from their first place shows a high threshold and develop an ultra personal universe. It is those on which there are questions: bluff, creative whim, crazy or visionary? Will he be able to develop a coherent discourse, available in time and the seasons without getting bogged down or lose its authenticity?

Since the show of the summer of 2007, doubts are gone, giving way to a boundless admiration from the world of fashion to this creator who has revitalized the London stage. However, if all swoon before his gothic-futuristic-grunge-dramatic style, many expected from the young prodigy a styling exercise more strenuous strand: to achieve some make-a notebook of his creations…

And this is now done through its collaboration with Rick Owens. The American designer based in Paris seems to have managed to imbue his Master Gareth Pugh leather and sense of the material, allowing the young troublemaker to offer for summer 2008 collection a more thoughtful, more adapted to the human body, the less Dante and a more accessible strand. But it remains pure Pugh: theatrical, but incredibly inspired…
